We do not only focus on parish work, but on a variety of ministries.
At the moment we provide

- University Chaplains for two campuses in Pietermaritzburg and Edendale.
- A University Professor in Pietermaritzburg. (Subject: History of Christianity)
- Two Seminary Lecturers in Cedara. (Subjects: Scripture, Greek, Hebrew, Homiletics)
- The Director for Radio Veritas in Johannesburg.
- The Secretary for Justice and Peace at the Bishops’ Conference in Pretoria.
- A Prison Chaplain for all the prisons in and around Johannesburg.
- Full-time School Chaplains for two Catholic Schools in Johannesburg and Springs.
- The Director of the Saint Martin Centre in Springs. (A Social Apostolate).
In addition we have Dominicans working with AIDS Orphans in Pietermaritzburg and Kwa Thema; with a Skills Training Project in Welkom; and as chaplains to Old Age homes in Boksburg, Johannesburg and Pietermaritzburg.
Three of our brethren have become well known authors in spirituality, theology, church history, on counselling of traumatised children, and issues of peace and justice.
Some brethren work occasionally with Dominican Sisters and with groups of Lay Dominicans, giving spiritual guidance, training in preaching, and running bible-study groups.
Several brethren are available for preaching retreats.
